Texas Rising Star is a quality rating and improvement system for Texas early childhood programs.
New! Entry Level Designation
All Child Care Services (CCS) regulated providers are now required to participate in Texas Rising Star. New CCS providers and current CCS providers who are not Texas Rising Star certified must meet the minimum quality standards to receive Entry Level Designation as part of the certification process.
About Texas Rising Star
All center based and home based child care providers in Texas can be certified in Texas Rising Star if they meet certain eligibility criteria. Programs that participate in Texas Rising Star meet higher quality standards than many other child care programs.
